Morning

Bananas have jumped to $1 since Cyclone Larry flattened the crop in north Queensland.

Afternoon

In the Pearl Tea shop under Railway Square they're playing the 70's instrumental "Popcorn" over the speakers. A 5 year old kid stands in the corner waving her arms in some sort of robot spasm dance.

bah! I would have thought that the complex interaction between a significant meteorological event and the economies of cropping would have warranted substantially more than a single throwaway one-liner - especially given the espoused raison d'etre of your so called "blog". Surely!!
But oh no, it's "jumped to $1" this, and "Larry flattened the crop" that. Tepid. Tepid prose!
The subject requires nothing less than an ARTICLE (...say, 500 words) with submissions.
Good sir!! your attention to this matter please!! and don't forget about the submissions.

1. I have no opinions
