Morning

"Beautiful in My Eyes" - a singer-songwriter specialist. I've also heard him playing Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell & (I think) John Denver, and now Joshua Kadison.

Afternoon

"The Last Time" - man with curly greying hair, playing guitar and harmonica. Stops after a verse & chorus to chat with someone.

Brass duo, sax & trombone, playing something minimalist. Repeated 8 note phrase on the saxophone.

I've started dropping cards with the blog's URL with the buskers as I walk past. If any of you visit, add a comment to the posts - correct details I get wrong, add anything I miss, mention things about performing that day or busking experiences in general. The performer's perspective instead of just my spectator observations each day.

OK, here's how it played out from my perspective. I was just squatting there doing my usual thing when I noticed this young fella with an uncertain expression looming into view. Initially he just occupied about 5% of my field of vision I'd say. Like, just the corner of my eye. He approached (almost gliding) a bit closer - before I knew it he was fully front and centre, yammering and waving a little card. It might be slightly unfair to say he was blocking out the sun, but let's just say he was well'n'truly on my radar, dear reader, no mistake about that! You'll understand then, that I was more than a little relieved when he deftly slid this business card into my blazer pocket - "aaah, not a spruiker, an aficionado! Good fellow", I thought, as he receded back down the tunnel, still, I imagine (his back was turned), with that slightly querulous expression.
